ધી નડીઆદ એજ્યુકેશન સોસાયટી સંચાલિત સી. બી. પટેલ આર્ટસ કોલેજમાં આચાર્ય પ્રો. ડો. મહેન્દ્રકુમાર દવેના માર્ગદર્શનથી સી. ડબલ્યુ. ડી. સી. વિભાગ દ્વારા તા.૧૫-૧૨-૨૦૨૫ ના રોજ પોકસો એક્ટ સંદર્ભે વ્યાખ્યાનનું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ વ્યાખ્યાન કોલેજના આચાર્યની વિશેષ ઉપસ્થિતમાં સી. ડબલ્યુ. ડી. સી. ના કન્વીનર ડો. કલ્પનાબેન ભટ્ટ મેડમે આયોજન કર્યું હતું. જેમાં જિલ્લા મહિલા અને બાળ અધિકારીની કચેરી, નડીઆદ દ્વારા ચાલતી સખી વન સ્ટોર સેન્ટરમાંથી કેશવર્કર શબાનાબેન મલેકે પોકસો એક્ટ વિશે બાળ સુરક્ષા, મહિલા સુરક્ષા અને હેલ્પલાઈન નંબર ‘અભયમ્ ૧૮૧-૧૧૨-૧૦૯૮’ (બાળકોની જાતીય સતામણી, ‘૧૯૩૦- સાયબર ક્રાઈમ હેલ્પલાઈન’ વિશે ઘણી જ ઉપયોગી માહિતી આપી હતી. તો સરદાર પટેલ ભવનમાંથી પધારેલ આસિસ્ટન્ટ પ્રોજેક્ટ મેનેજર શૈલેષ કુમાર પોકસો એક્ટ વિશે અને સોશિયલ મિડીયાનો સુરક્ષિત ઉપયોગ કઈ રીતે કરવું તેની તથા સોશિયલ મિડીયામાં જાતીય સતામણી કઈ રીતે સંભવી શકે તે સંદર્ભે ઊંડાણપૂર્વક માહીતી આપી હતી. આ વ્યાખ્યાનમાં આચાર્યએ પણ વિદ્યાર્થિનીઓની જાગૃત થાય અને સલામતી કેળવે તે માટે અધ્યક્ષીય વિચારો રજૂ કર્યા હતા. તો વ્યાખ્યાનના અંતે સી. ડબલ્યુ. ડી. સી. ના કન્વીનર કલ્પનાબેન ભટ્ટે આભારવિધિ કરી હતી. આ સમગ્ર કાર્યક્રમનું સંચાલન ડો. પરવીનબેન મનસૂરીએ કર્યું હતું. તો સી. ડબલ્યુ. ડી. સી. ના સભ્યો ડો. વિદ્યાબેન ચૌધરી અને ડો. ભાવિનીબેન ચૌધરી તથા મોટી સંખ્યામાં કોલેજની વિદ્યાર્થિનીઓ ઉપસ્થિત રહી હતી.
