ઝાલોદ શહેરમાં નાતાલના પર્વ નિમિત્તે ભક્તિભાવ અને આનંદ-ઉલ્લાસ સાથે “ક્રિસમસ ફેસ્ટિવલ” શાંતિ યાત્રાનું ભવ્ય આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. રવિવારના રોજ સવારે ૧૧:૦૦ કલાકે ઝાલોદ CNI ચર્ચ દ્વારા આયોજિત આ શાંતિ યાત્રાએ સમગ્ર નગરને નાતાલના રંગે રંગી દીધું હતું.
આ યાત્રાનો પ્રારંભ CNI ચર્ચ, મુવાડા ખાતેથી થયો હતો. યાત્રા શહેરના મુખ્ય બસ સ્ટેશન થઈ ગામડી ચોકડી સુધી પહોંચી અને પરત ફરી મુવાડા સ્થિત ચર્ચ ખાતે તેનો સમાપન કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. સમગ્ર માર્ગ પર નાતાલના સંદેશ સાથે ભક્તિ અને ઉત્સાહનો માહોલ જોવા મળ્યો હતો.
યાત્રામાં ખ્રિસ્તી સમાજના અબાલ-વૃદ્ધ, મહિલાઓ અને યુવાનો મોટી સંખ્યામાં જોડાયા હતા. સૌ કોઈ લાલ રંગની ટોપી, સાન્તાક્લોઝના પોશાક તેમજ ધર્મગુરુઓ ધાર્મિક વસ્ત્રોમાં ઉત્સાહપૂર્વક ભાગ લીધો હતો. ડીજેના તાલે ગવાતા ભક્તિ ગીતો પર ભક્તોએ નાસગાન કરી પ્રભુ ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તના આગમનને હર્ષોલ્લાસ સાથે વધાવ્યું હતું.
યાત્રાના સમાપન બાદ ચર્ચના ફાધર રૅવ. જોનાથાન, એરિયાડિન રૅવ અને રમેશભાઈ મછારે પ્રાસંગિક પ્રવચન કર્યું હતું. તેઓએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, “પ્રભુ ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તે સમગ્ર માનવજાતને પાપમાંથી બચાવવા પૃથ્વી પર માનવ જન્મ લીધો. નાતાલનો તહેવાર પ્રેમ, શાંતિ, આનંદ અને માફીનો દિવ્ય સંદેશ આપે છે.”
આ શાંતિ યાત્રામાં ખ્રિસ્તી સમાજના આગેવાનો, ધર્મગુરુઓ તેમજ સમાજના ભાઈ-બહેનો મોટી સંખ્યામાં હાજર રહ્યા હતા. વિશેષ કરીને આ કાર્યક્રમમાં આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય માનવ અધિકાર સુરક્ષા પરિષદના હોદેદારોની પણ ઉપસ્થિતિ રહી હતી.
ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે આ સમગ્ર કાર્યક્રમનું આયોજન ચર્ચના સેક્રેટરી વિજયભાઈ કે. ડામોરના માર્ગદર્શન હેઠળ સુચારુ રીતે કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
