ખેડા જિલ્લાના કલેક્ટર અમિત પ્રકાશ યાદવ અને મહાનગરપાલિકા કમિશનર જી.એચ.સોલંકીએ નડિયાદ શહેરના હેરિટેજ વિસ્તારના આયોજનબદ્ધ વિકાસ અર્થે મહત્ત્વપૂર્ણ પગલું ભર્યું છે. આગામી સમયમાં નડિયાદની સાક્ષરનગરી તરીકેની ઓળખને વધુ મજબૂત કરવા માટે આ બંને અધિકારીઓએ શહેરની જુદી જુદી પોળમાં આવેલ સાહિત્યકારોની વિરાસતની વિશેષ મુલાકાત લીધી હતી.
કલેક્ટર અમિત પ્રકાશ યાદવ અને કમિશનર જી.એચ.સોલંકીએ ગોવર્ધનરામ ત્રિપાઠી, ઈન્દુલાલ યાજ્ઞિક, ઝવેરીલાલ યાજ્ઞિક, બકુલ ત્રિપાઠી, દોલતરામ પંડ્યા, રણજીતલાલ પંડ્યા, ચંદ્રશંકર પંડ્યા, પ્રદ્યુમન પંડ્યા, અંબાલાલ જાની, ધનશંકર ત્રિપાઠી, રતિપતિરામ પંડ્યા, જયકૃષ્ણ સુરતી, અને મન:સુખરામ ત્રિપાઠી જેવા ગુજરાતના મહાન સાહિત્ય રત્નોના હેરિટેજ સ્થળોની મુલાકાત લીધી હતી. આ મુલાકાત દરમિયાન, તેઓ આ સાહિત્યકારોએ નડિયાદની સાક્ષરનગરીમાં આપેલા અમૂલ્ય યોગદાનથી માહિતગાર થયા હતા.
