નડિયાદ: જિલ્લા બાળ સુરક્ષા એકમ , નડિયાદની સમયસર અને સંવેદનશીલ કામગીરીના કારણે ઓઢવ, અમદાવાદના એક મનો દિવ્યાંગ કિશોરનું તેના પરિવાર સાથે સફળતાપૂર્વક પુન:મિલન કરાવવામાં આવ્યું છે. આ કિસ્સામાં સોશિયલ મીડિયાની શક્તિએ મહત્ત્વની ભૂમિકા ભજવી છે, જેના થકી ખૂબ જ ઓછા સમયમાં કિશોરના પરિવારજનોનો સંપર્ક થઈ શક્યો હતો. અમદાવાદના ઓઢવ વિસ્તારમાં રહેતા સોલંકી શાંતાબેન ઉર્ફે ગંગાબેનનો મનો દિવ્યાંગ પુત્ર, જેને રોજ સવારે બહાર જઈ સાંજે પરત ફરવાની આદત હતી, તે ગત ૩જી ડિસેમ્બરના રોજ ઘરેથી નીકળ્યા બાદ પરત ફર્યો નહોતો. શોધખોળ દરમિયાન જાણવા મળ્યું કે તે કોઈ અજાણ્યા વાહન દ્વારા વસો તાલુકાના દાવડા ચોકડી વિસ્તાર સુધી પહોંચી ગયો હતો. ત્યાં હાજર રાહદારીઓએ તાત્કાલિક વસો પોલીસ સ્ટેશનને આ અંગે જાણ કરી હતી.
પોલીસ દ્વારા વહીવટી પ્રક્રિયા પૂર્ણ કર્યા બાદ કિશોરને બાળ કલ્યાણ સમિતિ, નડિયાદ સમક્ષ રજૂ કરવામાં આવ્યો, અને ત્યારબાદ તેને તાત્કાલિક હિન્દુ અનાથ આશ્રમ સંસ્થા, નડિયાદ ખાતે મૂકવામાં આવ્યો હતો. કિશોર મનો દિવ્યાંગ હોવાને કારણે તે પોતાના પરિવાર કે વતન વિશે કોઈ માહિતી આપી શકતો નહોતો. જિલ્લા બાળ સુરક્ષા એકમ, નડિયાદની ટીમે વારંવાર કાઉન્સેલિંગ અને મુલાકાતો લીધી, પરંતુ કિશોર ફક્ત પોતાની માતાનું જ નામ આપી શકતો હતો. આ પડકારજનક પરિસ્થિતિમાં, જિલ્લા બાળ સુરક્ષા એકમે કિશોરના ફોટા સહિતનું માહિતીપત્રક તૈયાર કરીને વિવિધ સોશિયલ મીડિયા માધ્યમો પર ઝડપથી પ્રસારિત કર્યું હતું. આ પોસ્ટ વાયરલ થતાં જ, અમદાવાદમાં રહેતા કિશોરના નજીકના સગા-સંબંધીઓ સુધી આ જાણકારી પહોંચી અને તેઓએ નડિયાદ દ્વારા જાહેર કરાયેલા સંપર્ક નંબર પર સંપર્ક સાધ્યો. પરિવારજનો દ્વારા આપવામાં આવેલી માહિતીની સંતોષકારક તપાસ કર્યા બાદ, ગતરોજ ૮ ડિસેમ્બર ૨૦૨૫ જિલ્લા બાળ સુરક્ષા એકમ, નડિયાદ દ્વારા ભાવુક વાતાવરણમાં કિશોરને તેની માતા અને ભાઈને સોંપવામાં આવ્યો હતો.
